The Tower, part oneShe walked slowly up the spiral staircase to the top of the tower. Unsure what she might fine there, her heart beat fast against her ribcage. “They will hear my heart at this rate” she whispered under her breath. At this moment she reached the door on the tiny landing. Taking one final deep breath her hand rested gently on the door handle, only to throw it violently open moments later. The room she found herself in was vast and circular. Bare stone walls and stained glass windows surrounded her, there was also a mahogany bookcase and table pushed near to a wall.
